Howard Kennedy's band, Take It To The Bridge, is one of our worst kept secrets.
It was formed in 2011 to allow some of our talented members of staff to get involved in Law Rocks events (A charitable organisation that hosts "battle of the band" events between lawyers) at a time when the organisation itself was in its infancy.
We have continued to support Law Rocks over the years and in 2019 our band was one of only a few invited to perform at the organisation's 10 year birthday bash at London's Scala, celebrating global fundraising of over $3m.
The band performs at Law Rocks and independent events in the UK several times a year. These gigs, particularly those at the spiritual home of Law Rocks at the 100 Club on Oxford Street, are highlights of the year for Howard Kennedy employees, partners and our clients and contacts.
The band has also been lucky enough to be invited, every year since 2014, to perform with the Law Rocks events at the International Bar Association's annual conference. Thanks to this opportunity they have performed in Australia, Asia, Europe and North America in the past 5 years.
The band has had many faces over the years, having lost a few members to other pursuits (babies, relocations and seats at the bench), but the current line-up is here to stay. Can you blame them?
